How did you attract/address your audience
In the creation of our media work we used a wide range of softwares, hardwares and technical equitment. The two things we used the most were the apple macs and the camera. We then used Imovie to edit our film together. However we had to use Live Type to add titles and Final Cut to put the end result together. To get the ideas for the film we watched other films on youtube and on DVDs to be inspired. We used an indie game, animation and music site called Newgrounds.com to find our soundtrack and a file sharing sound effects site called Freesound.com to get the mobile phones alarm. We finally used DeFont to get the title font that we wanted. - camera
- scanner
- tripod
- Imovie
- youtube
- Itunes

Characters
Emily: Emily is going to be a ditsy, crazy character. She is going to be stressed out and act quite immaturely and unorganised. She is about 20, white and of an average height. She has long blonde hair that looks sort of scruffy so that she looks like she doesn't care about her appearance too much. Emily is quite tall for a woman and is taller then Darren. This creates humour as she is more dominant than Darren.
Sounds
Song Title: Tea and Crumpets
Artist: Nick Leach
We choose this song as it is upbeat and fun. The genre is brit-rock as we wanted to relate the song back to the country.

This alarm clock sound is going to be used for the woman's alarm clock which signatures the beginning of the opening sequence.

This is an alarm clock sound which is going to be used for Darren's alarm clock at the beginning which is a corporate sounding alarm clock.
Casting
Props,Costume and Locations
Props:
Two separate alarm clocks. The man's one will be an alarm on the phone which will show his high-tech possessions and show he has a lot of money. Also shows how he has no need for a proper alarm clock as he is efficient. The woman's alarm clock will be a simpler one to represent her care free personality. The alarms represent their similarity's and differences straight away. The coffee cup is important as it will be part of the comic effect as it gets spilt on the woman when the two characters bump into each other.
The address book is the most important prop as it is what sets up questions in the audiences mind like, how will he find her again to give it back, when will they see each other again etc.
The man will be wearing semi-smart clothes as it will reveal that he is a hard worker and quite well off. The woman will be wearing casual clothes as it reflects her care-free personality.
Whilst the titles are coming up it will be filmed in the woman and the mans' separate houses as this will reflect their personalities and reveal stuff about them to the audience. When they meet each other it will be in a nearby park to the bus stop she needs to get to, this is so the comedy side of the film is set up, the woman will be running for a bus and then bumps into the man.
